Allan Stepa joined Salman Partners in July 2003 after gaining hands-on industry experience as a Senior Production Engineer at Shell Oil Company for eight years and as a Senior Staff Exploitation Engineer at Husky Energy Limited. In addition, Allan worked in equity research at Banc of America Securities in Houston for two years and at the Gerson Lehrman Group Inc. in New York City. Allan holds a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Allan will be initiating coverage of the senior oil and gas companies.
