Rafi has over 9 years of Oil & Gas industry experience including his most recent position at Champion Technologies Ltd. as a Group Leader of its Heavy Oil / Oil Sands unit. Prior to joining Salman, Rafi spent four years with Champion in Alberta. In addition, he spent four years in various engineering roles in the Middle East with Exxon Energy Chemicals. Rafi also worked with Total E&P; in Angola as the chemical engineer for the FPSO Girasol. Rafi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry (1997) from the American University of Beirut, and is currently working on a MBA on a part-time basis from the University of Alberta (expected completion in 2006).
